About
Pauline Zoé is a French-Luxembourgish film director and screenwriter based between Spain and Luxembourg. She studied filmmaking in Madrid from 2019 to 2024 as part of a double degree, where she gained hands-on experience across every stage of the filmmaking process, from pre-production to post-production.
During her studies, she co-wrote two award-winning student films: Pues No, which received the Audience Award at Festival ADN, and LYS, which won Second Place at the III Certamen de Cortometrajes Sanfer Joven in 2023.
Alongside filmmaking, Pauline has developed a strong interest in film criticism and storytelling. She writes for the online magazine FILMADOS, where she publishes reviews and has covered the San Sebastián International Film Festival in both 2024 and 2025.
Pauline's work is rooted in character-driven storytelling, where striking visual aesthetics meet existential questions. Through intimate narratives, she explores identity, human relationships, and the search for meaning, creating films that invite both emotional and philosophical reflection.
